RSP’s Sharin Tamang leads as Harka Sampang trails in Sunsari-1



SUNSARI: In the early results from Sunsari Constituency-1, former Dharan Mayor and Shram Sanskriti Party chair Harka Sampang is trailing. After counting 300 votes from Dharan Ward No. 1, Sharin Tamang of the Rastriya Swatantra Party leads with 142 votes, while Sampang has secured 49 votes.

Other candidates include Sujendra Gole of Nepali Congress with 40 votes, Manoj Bhattarai of the Nepali Communist Party with 12 votes, and Tikar Ram Limbu of CPN-UML with 8 votes. Uddhav Shrestha of Rastriya Prajatantra Party has 34 votes. Vote counting is still ongoing in the constituency.
