RSP leads in 36 seats, UML in 6 and Nepali Congress in 2



KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) is leading in the majority of constituencies, according to the preliminary results of vote counting underway across the country.

Based on the latest available details, the RSP is ahead in 36 constituencies. CPN-UML is leading in 6 seats, while the Nepali Congress is ahead in 2 seats. Similarly, the CPN has taken the lead in 1 seat.

No final winners have been officially declared so far. However, reports indicate that Ranju Darshana of the RSP has won from Kathmandu Constituency-1.

The Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) has not taken the lead in any seat so far. Likewise, the newly formed Ujyalo Nepal Party led by Kulman Ghising has also not managed to secure the lead in Kathmandu Constituency-3.

Overall, the preliminary nationwide results show the RSP taking a significant lead from the early stage of vote counting.
