Ranju Darshana widens lead in Kathmandu-1 vote count



KATHMANDU: Ranju Darshana Neupane, the candidate of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP), has strengthened her lead in the latest vote count of Kathmandu Constituency No. 1.

According to preliminary results released by the Election Officer’s Office, Darshana has secured 2,614 votes, placing her significantly ahead of her competitors.

Nepali Congress candidate Prabal Thapa Chhetri is in second place with 1,413 votes so far. The vote gap between Neupane and Thapa indicates a strong position for the RSP in the Kathmandu-1 contest.

Similarly, Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP) candidate Rabindra Mishra has received 712 votes, while CPN (UML) candidate Mohan Raj Regmi has secured 236 votes.
