KATHMANDU: Moderate rain and snowfall are likely at a few places in the mountainous and hilly regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces today.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, kight rain and snowfall are likely at one or two places in the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, while moderate rainfall is likely at a few places in their hilly regions. Moderate rainfall is also likely at one or two places in Madhesh Province and the Tarai regions of Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
Generally cloudy weather is expected in Koshi, Bagmati, Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, as well as the hilly regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces. Partly cloudy conditions are likely in the mountainous regions of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces and in the Tarai regions of the country.
According to the Division’s meteorological analysis, westerly winds are influencing the whole of Karnali and Sudurpashchim provinces, as well as the western parts of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces.
Meanwhile, monsoon winds are influencing the whole of Koshi, Madhesh and Bagmati provinces, along with the remaining areas of Gandaki and Lumbini provinces, where they are also experiencing a partial influence of westerly winds.
