Two employees of NARC dismissed



KATHMANDU: Two employees of the Nepal Agricultural Research Council (NARC), under the Ministry of Agriculture, Forestry and Environment, have been dismissed from their job.

Minister for Agriculture Geeta Chaudhary, who is also the Chairperson of NARC, has dismissed two employees who were absent from the office for a long time without notice, her secretariat has said.

The employees dismissed from service include Technical Officer Parbati Joshi, working at the Directorate of Agricultural Research, Thara, Sunsari, and Scientist Namita Bhattarai, working at the National Biotechnology Research Center, Khumaltar, Lalitpur.

They have been dismissed from service with effect from the date of their absence as per the regulations of the Personnel Administration Regulations, 2062 BS.
