NC extends deadline for active membership update for the final time

KATHMANDU: The Nepali Congress has extended the deadline for updating its active membership records for the final time.

The decision was taken by the party’s Central Membership Management Committee meeting, according to acting Chief Secretary Krishna Prasad Dulal.

The new deadline has been set for midnight on June 11, he said.

According to the party, the membership update process has been progressing positively across the country. However, requests were received from various levels citing difficulties in completing the process within the earlier deadline, prompting the extension.

Dulal said the extension was made based on those requests and the committee’s decision, and emphasized that this is the final extension.

The party has urged all members and party structures to complete the active membership update process within the revised deadline without fail.
