31 arrested with illegal drugs



KATHMANDU: Police have arrested 31 individuals from various parts of the country on charges of possessing illegal drugs.

According to the Central Police News Room, six people were arrested in Dang, five in Jhapa, three in Banke, two each in Sunsari, Bara, Chitwan, Baglung, Siraha, Morang, and Kailali, and one each in Rasuwa, Kathmandu, and Saptari.

Police recovered various narcotics, including brown heroin and marijuana, as well as prescription-controlled drugs such as Spaspan and Tramadol tablets, and injectable substances including Diazepam, Norphine, Phenergan, and Promethazine. Further investigation into the cases is underway.
