NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today (Friday).

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 152.96 and the selling rate at Rs 153.56.

Similarly, the buying rate of one euro has been fixed at Rs 178.05 and the selling rate at Rs 178.74. The British pound sterling is being traded at Rs 205.85 for buying and Rs 206.65 for selling, while the Swiss franc stands at Rs 194.20 for buying and Rs 194.96 for selling.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 109.26 and the selling rate at Rs 109.69. The Canadian dollar has been set at Rs 110.10 for buying and Rs 110.53 for selling, while the Singapore dollar is valued at Rs 119.24 for buying and Rs 119.71 for selling.

Likewise, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.57 and the selling rate Rs 9.61. The Chinese yuan is being exchanged at Rs 22.58 for buying and Rs 22.67 for selling. The Saudi Arabian riyal stands at Rs 40.74 for buying and Rs 40.90 for selling, while the Qatari riyal has been fixed at Rs 41.95 for buying and Rs 42.12 for selling.

According to the central bank, the Thai baht is valued at Rs 4.69 for buying and Rs 4.71 for selling. The UAE dirham is being traded at Rs 41.65 for buying and Rs 41.81 for selling, while the Malaysian ringgit stands at Rs 38.12 for buying and Rs 38.27 for selling.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 South Korean won has been fixed at Rs 9.98 and the selling rate at Rs 10.02. Similarly, the Swedish krona is valued at Rs 16.38 for buying and Rs 16.45 for selling, while the Danish krone stands at Rs 23.82 for buying and Rs 23.92 for selling.

The buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar has been fixed at Rs 19.52 and the selling rate at Rs 19.62. The Kuwaiti dinar is being exchanged at Rs 498.32 for buying and Rs 500.28 for selling. Likewise, the Bahraini dinar stands at Rs 405.65 for buying and Rs 407.24 for selling, while the Omani rial is valued at Rs 397.29 for buying and Rs 398.85 for selling.

The buying rate of Indian currency has been fixed at Rs 160 per 100 Indian rupees, while the selling rate has been set at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that the exchange rates may be revised at any time as required. It also noted that exchange rates set by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on the central bank’s website.
