Nepalis in Gulf region urged to submit details through online portal

KATHMANDU: In view of the evolving situation in the Middle East, Nepali diplomatic missions in the Gulf region have intensified coordination and outreach regarding a registration portal launched by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.

The Embassy of Nepal in Riyadh has urged Nepali nationals, particularly migrant workers, to fill in their details through the online portal. The embassy stated that the platform has been introduced to collect updated information on the status of Nepali citizens and to facilitate any necessary assistance or action.

According to officials, the portal will gather information on Nepalis residing in Saudi Arabia and Yemen to help authorities respond promptly if required.

Likewise, diaspora organizations affiliated with various political parties have designated contact persons to support Nepalis in the region and assist with coordination efforts.
