CPN-UML Vice-Chair Paudel recommended as candidate from Rupandehi-2



LUMBINI: Nepal Communist Party (UML) Vice-Chair Bishnu Prasad Paudel has been recommended as the party’s candidate from Rupandehi Constituency No. 2 for the upcoming House of Representatives election. The party’s regional convention held today endorsed Vice-Chair Paudel’s name unanimously.

Additionally, Paudel has also been recommended as the first-choice candidate from Constituency No. 3, according to the district deputy secretary Baburam Panthi.

From Rupandehi-3, alongside Paudel, the party has recommended former mayor of Siddharthanagar municipality Hari Adhikari, former lawmaker Basu Ghimire from Constituency No. 5, Ayodhya Tharu, Hit Raj Panthi, Nar Bahadur Gharti, Bishwa Raj Baral, Rajendra Panthi, Pamphawati Khanal, Sita Kafle, and Laxmi KC.

From Rupandehi-1, the regional coordination committee has recommended party central committee secretary Chhabi Lal Bishwakarma, Dadhi Ram Nyaupane, and Dr. Krishna Nyaupane.

Meanwhile, former National Assembly lawmaker Khim Lal Bhattarai has been recommended as the sole candidate from Rupandehi-5. The candidate for Rupandehi-4 will be recommended after the regional committee meeting scheduled for Monday.
