RSP holding Central Committee meeting today

KATHMANDU: The Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) has scheduled a meeting of its Central Committee amid ongoing efforts to consolidate the party’s organisational structure and political strategy.

According to General Secretary Kabindra Burlakoti, the meeting will be held at 1:00 pm today (Sunday) at the party’s central office in Banasthali, Kathmandu. The agenda includes discussions on party integration, organisational expansion, upcoming March 5 elections, and strengthening internal structures, reflecting the party’s focus on building capacity ahead of upcoming political challenges.

Party leaders are also expected to review recent political developments and assess the party’s organisational readiness, as the RSP continues to position itself as a key alternative force in national politics.

Meanwhile, RSP Chair Rabi Lamichhane, Kulman Ghising, and Kathmandu Metropolitan City Mayor Balendra Shah (Balen) held a meeting on Sunday evening at the party’s central office in Banasthali.

According to party sources, the discussions focused on key political issues, including party unification efforts and revisions to the proportional representation (PR) closed list. Lamichhane and Ghising had also held a separate meeting on Friday.
