KATHMANDU: Two matches are scheduled to take place today under the Nepal Premier League (NPL) at the Tribhuvan University International Cricket Ground in Kirtipur.
In the first match, Biratnagar Kings will face Janakpur Bolts at 12:30 pm. The second match, scheduled for 5 pm, will see Lumbini Lions take on Pokhara Avengers.
Biratnagar Kings have won just one of their three matches so far. The team will be looking to secure its second victory in its fourth match of the tournament.
Janakpur Bolts, meanwhile, have won two of their three matches and lost one. They will be aiming to register their third consecutive victory in today’s encounter.
In the second match, Lumbini Lions will face Pokhara Avengers. Lumbini remain unbeaten, having won one of their two matches, while their other game ended without a result due to rain, with points shared between the teams.
Pokhara Avengers, on the other hand, are yet to record a win. Having suffered defeats in both of their opening matches, Pokhara will be under pressure to secure their first victory of the tournament.
