Rainfall continues in various parts of the country



KATHMANDU: Rainfall has continued in various parts of the country, including the Kathmandu Valley, since Monday morning.

According to the Weather Forecasting Division, rainfall has been recorded in most areas of Bagmati and Gandaki provinces during the past hour.

Light to moderate rain is also being experienced in some places in Koshi, Lumbini and Karnali provinces, as well as in one or two places in Madhesh and Sudurpaschim provinces.

The division said light rainfall is being recorded in parts of the Kathmandu Valley and that the current weather pattern is likely to continue for some time.

Although the weather may appear to improve briefly in the afternoon, cloudy conditions are likely to return, with a possibility of moderate to heavy rainfall during the afternoon and night.
