KATHMANDU: Nepali Congress leader Purna Bahadur Khadka has called a meeting of leaders from his faction at his residence in Golfutar on Friday afternoon.
The meeting, scheduled to begin at 2:00 pm, will be attended by senior leaders and office bearers from the party’s non-establishment group elected during the 14th General Convention.
According to party sources, the meeting is expected to make key decisions regarding preparations for the national gathering to be held in Kathmandu.
Leaders will also review the party’s seven-point response and discuss the political developments that have unfolded since then.
Khadka has been holding separate meetings of leaders close to him since Gagan Thapa became the party president through a special general convention.
