PARBAT: One person died and two others were injured after a jeep accident in Arthurdandakharka, Kushma Municipality-14 of Parbat district last night.
According to Police Inspector Dinesh Poudel, Information Officer at the District Police Office, the jeep (Ga 1 Ja 5865) was en route to Charipani from the ward office in Arthurdandakharka when it met with an accident at Andherineta and fell about 500 metres off the road.
The deceased sustained serious head and multiple injuries and was taken to Pokhara for treatment, where doctors declared him dead.
The injured have been identified as drivers Buddhisagar Poudel, 27, and Rajendra Poudel, 46, both from the same ward. They are currently receiving treatment at Manipal Teaching Hospital in Pokhara, police said.
