NRB issues today’s foreign exchange rates



KAHTMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar has been set at Rs 146.88, while the selling rate stands at Rs 147.48.

Similarly, the buying rate of one European euro is Rs 174.05 and the selling rate is Rs 174.76. One UK pound sterling is being bought at Rs 201.07 and sold at Rs 201.89, while the Swiss franc has a buying rate of Rs 189.96 and a selling rate of Rs 190.74.

The buying rate of one Australian dollar has been fixed at Rs 102.25 and the selling rate at Rs 102.67. Likewise, one Canadian dollar is being bought at Rs 107.87 and sold at Rs 108.31, while one Singapore dollar has a buying rate of Rs 115.44 and a selling rate of Rs 115.91.

The buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.49 and the selling rate is Rs 9.53. Similarly, one Chinese yuan is being bought at Rs 21.13 and sold at Rs 21.21. The buying rate of one Saudi Arabian riyal is Rs 39.16 and the selling rate is Rs 39.32, while one Qatari riyal has a buying rate of Rs 40.30 and a selling rate of Rs 40.47.

According to the bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is Rs 4.65 and the selling rate is Rs 4.67. One UAE dirham is being bought at Rs 39.99 and sold at Rs 40.16, while the Malaysian ringgit has a buying rate of Rs 37.26 and a selling rate of Rs 37.41.

The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is Rs 10.12 and the selling rate is Rs 10.17. The buying rate has been fixed at Rs 16.46 and the selling rate at Rs 16.52, while one Danish kroner is being bought at Rs 23.31 and sold at Rs 23.40.

The central bank has set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at Rs 18.80 and the selling rate at Rs 18.87. Likewise, one Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at Rs 481.10 and sold at Rs 483.07, while the Bahraini dinar has a buying rate of Rs 389.60 and a selling rate of Rs 391.19. The buying rate of one Omani rial has been fixed at Rs 382.00 and the selling rate at Rs 383.56.

Similarly, the buying rate of 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160.00 and the selling rate at Rs 160.15.

Nepal Rastra Bank has stated that these exchange rates may be revised at any time as necessary. The rates set by commercial banks may differ, and the updated exchange rates are available on the central bank’s website.
