Gold and silver prices climb after three-day decline



KATHMANDU: After declining for three consecutive days, prices of gold and silver increased in the domestic market on Friday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of gold rose by Rs 2,900 per tola on Friday. Gold, which was traded at Rs 259,600 per tola on Thursday, climbed to Rs 262,500 per tola.

Similarly, the price of silver also went up. Silver, which was traded at Rs 4,415 per tola on Thursday, increased to Rs 4,525 per tola on Friday, the federation said.
