Lekhnath Paudel appointed head of RSP Disciplinary Commission



KATHMANDU: The first Central Committee meeting of the Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) following its first general convention has appointed former High Court judge Lekhnath Paudel as the head of the party’s Disciplinary Commission.

According to RSP Joint General Secretary Hari Dhakal, Paudel, a resident of Kaski, previously served as a judge at the High Court. The proposal to appoint him as the chief of the Disciplinary Commission was presented by party Chair Rabi Lamichhane during the meeting.

The meeting also decided to retain the existing leadership of the Election Commission and the Audit Commission within the party.

The decisions were taken during the inaugural meeting of the newly elected Central Committee as part of efforts to complete the party’s organizational structures following the first general convention.
