Nepal, China discuss strengthening cooperation in health and food safety sector

KATHMANDU: Health and Food Safety Minister Nisha Mehta held a courtesy meeting with the Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Zhang Maoming, on Monday, where the two sides discussed strengthening bilateral cooperation in the health sector.

According to the Ministry, the meeting held at the ministry focused on the long-standing friendly relations between Nepal and China and ways to further enhance collaboration in public health and related areas.

During the meeting, Minister Mehta expressed gratitude to the Chinese government for its continued support in Nepal’s health sector projects and during difficult times. She also extended best wishes to the newly appointed ambassador for a successful tenure.
