NRB issues today’s foreign currency exchange rates



KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) has published the foreign currency exchange rates for today.

According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is Rs 151.56, while the selling rate is Rs 152.16. The euro is being traded at Rs 177.58 (buying) and Rs 178.28 (selling), and the UK pound sterling at Rs 205.10 (buying) and Rs 205.91 (selling). Similarly, the Swiss franc stands at Rs 193.06 (buying) and Rs 193.82 (selling).

Among other major currencies, the Australian dollar is fixed at Rs 108.60 (buying) and Rs 109.03 (selling), the Canadian dollar at Rs 110.96 and Rs 111.40, and the Singapore dollar at Rs 118.86 and Rs 119.33, respectively.

For Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is Rs 9.68 and the selling rate is Rs 9.72. The Chinese yuan is set at Rs 22.20 (buying) and Rs 22.29 (selling), the Saudi Arabian riyal at Rs 40.41 and Rs 40.57, and the Qatari riyal at Rs 41.58 and Rs 41.74.

Likewise, the Thai baht is priced at Rs 4.66 (buying) and Rs 4.68 (selling), the UAE dirham at Rs 41.26 and Rs 41.43, the Malaysian ringgit at Rs 38.18 and Rs 38.33, and 100 South Korean won at Rs 10.29 and Rs 10.33. The Swedish krona stands at Rs 16.41 and Rs 16.47, while the Danish krone is set at Rs 23.77 (buying) and Rs 23.86 (selling).

Among other currencies, the Hong Kong dollar is fixed at Rs 19.35 (buying) and Rs 19.43 (selling), the Kuwaiti dinar at Rs 494.08 and Rs 496.04, the Bahraini dinar at Rs 401.32 and Rs 401.91, and the Omani rial at Rs 393.64 and Rs 395.20. The exchange rate for 100 Indian rupees has been set at Rs 160 (buying) and Rs 160.15 (selling).

The central bank noted that these rates may be revised at any time as needed. It also stated that exchange rates offered by commercial banks may vary, and updated rates are available on its official website.
