TI Nepal welcomes government initiatives on corruption control



KATHMANDU: Transparency International (TI) Nepal has welcomed the government’s recent initiatives aimed at governance reform and corruption control.

In a press statement, the organization said the reform agenda put forward by the government aligns with public expectations and demands for improved governance. It added that the plan incorporates key elements necessary to strengthen transparency and accountability.

Chairperson Madan Krishna Sharma said the government has demonstrated a clear commitment to good governance through its reform agenda. He also expressed optimism that the proposed programmes would be implemented within the stipulated timeframe.

He further stated that TI Nepal stands ready to support the government by offering its expertise and experience in promoting transparency and accountability.
