HoR polls: Over 80,000 passengers leave Kathmandu in two days



KATHMANDU: Voters are continuing to leave the Kathmandu Valley for their respective districts to cast their ballots in the March 5 House of Representatives (HoR) election.

According to Pankaj Malla, Human Resources Chief of the private transport service provider Lotse Multipurpose Organization, around 80,000 passengers traveled out of the valley over the past two days, with 374 public buses operating on Friday and 317 on Saturday.

Deputy Superintendent of Police at the Kathmandu Valley Traffic Police Office, Sunil Jung Shah, confirmed that approximately 80,000 passengers have left the valley during this period.
