Gold and silver prices go down



KATHMANDU: After rising continuously over the past few days, gold and silver prices in the local market declined on Thursday.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, the price of hallmarked gold has been fixed at Rs 259,600 per tola, down from Wednesday’s rate.

Similarly, the price of silver has been set at Rs 4,415 per tola.

On Wednesday, hallmarked gold was traded at Rs 261,000 per tola, while silver was priced at Rs 4,470 per tola.

The federation updates the prices daily based on movements in the international market and domestic demand.
