Bus accident in Chitwan injures 33



CHITWAN: A passenger bus traveling from Gaur to Kathmandu met with an accident this morning in the Tikauli forest area of Bharatpur Metropolitan City-9, leaving 33 people injured.

According to Shailendra Thapa, Joint Spokesperson of the Armed Police Force Office in Chitwan, the injured passengers were immediately rescued and taken to Chitwan Medical College, National City Hospital, and Bharatpur Hospital for treatment. He said that all the injured are in normal condition. Traffic on the road, which was obstructed for some time following the accident, has since resumed.
