Landslides are common in Nepal during monsoon/File photo
RUKUM: The Rukum Paschim section of the Mid-Hill Highway has been blocked following a landslide at Kalekhola in Chaurjahari Municipality-8.
According to Abinash Aryal, Information Officer at the Road Division Office, the landslide, which occurred earlier this morning, has buried the bridge over the river, disrupting traffic along the route.
A team equipped with machinery has been mobilized to clear the debris and restore traffic.
