KATHMANDU: Speaker Devraj Ghimire has extended his best wishes on the occasion of Eid ul-Fitr, expressing hope that the festival will foster harmony, peace, stability, and mutual understanding among all Nepalis.
In a message issued today, Speaker Ghimire conveyed his warm greetings to the Nepali Muslim community, emphasizing that such celebrations play a vital role in strengthening unity, reconciliation, and religious tolerance.
“May this great festival, observed after a month of fasting, spiritual reflection, self-restraint, and acts of charity during Ramadan, bring happiness, peace, and prosperity to all,” the message reads.
“I am confident that Eid will further unite Nepalis, reinforcing a strong sense of national unity through mutual harmony and brotherhood.”
