Gold price drops by Rs 7,900 per tola



KATHMANDU: The price of gold fell sharply by Rs 7,900 per tola on Tuesday, a day after reaching a record high.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers’ Association, gold is being traded at Rs 262,100 per tola on Tuesday. On Monday, the precious metal had surged to an all-time high of Rs 270,000 per tola.

Silver prices also declined on Tuesday. The price of silver dropped by Rs 305 per tola and is being traded at Rs 4,590 per tola. On Monday, silver had reached Rs 4,895 per tola.
