Top performers of NPL to receive Bajaj Pulsar motorcycles

KATHMANDU: The top three performers of the upcoming Nepal Premier League (NPL) will each be awarded a Bajaj Pulsar motorcycle, the Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) announced on Thursday.

At a ceremony held in Kathmandu, CAN signed an agreement with Golchha Group, making Bajaj Pulsar the official two-wheeler partner of the NPL.

The memorandum of understanding was signed by CAN Secretary Paras Khadka and Golchha Group Director Abhimanyu Golchha.

As per the agreement, a Pulsar motorcycle will be awarded to the player scoring the most runs, the player taking the most wickets, and the emerging player of the tournament, Khadka said.

He also expressed confidence that the second edition of the NPL would set new standards in terms of infrastructure and organization. “We are in the final stage of preparations, and this year’s NPL will be more organized and exciting,” Khadka said, assuring that cricket fans would not be disappointed.

The second edition of the Nepal Premier League (NPL) is scheduled to take place from November 17.
