Nepal to face UAE in second ODI of ICC World Cricket League 2 today



KATHMANDU: Nepal is set to take on the United Arab Emirates (UAE) today in its second match of the ongoing ICC World Cricket League 2 ODI series in Dubai.

The match, scheduled to take place at the ICC Academy, will begin at 11:15 a.m. Nepali time.

Both teams are coming off defeats in their opening matches against the United States. Nepal suffered a humiliating 106-run loss, while UAE was beaten by four wickets. Both sides will be desperate to secure their first win of the series.

In head-to-head ODI encounters, Nepal and UAE have faced each other 15 times, with Nepal winning nine matches and UAE securing six victories.

In the League 2 standings, the USA currently leads with 32 points from 22 matches, followed by Scotland with 30 points. Nepal sits seventh with 12 points from 17 matches, while UAE is at the bottom with six points from 17 games.
