KATHMANDU: The monsoon system continues to influence Nepal’s weather, with the low-pressure trough currently positioned north of its average location in the east and near the average location in the west.
According to the Weather Forecasting Division, it will be generally cloudy across the country this afternoon. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some places in the Terai and hilly areas of Karnali and Sudurpaschim provinces, in a few places in the remaining hilly areas including Bagmati and Gandaki provinces, and in one or two places in the Terai region.
The Division has stated that it will remain generally cloudy across the country tonight as well. There is a possibility of moderate rainfall in some hilly areas of all provinces and in a few places in the Terai region.
