KATHMANDU: Speaker of the House of Representatives (HoR), Devraj Ghimire, held a consultation with the Chief Whips of political parties in the Lower House ahead of today’s HoR meeting.
The HoR meeting is scheduled to take place this afternoon.
According to a statement from the Speaker’s secretariat, Ghimire consulted with the Chief Whips at the Federal Parliament Building in Naya Baneshwor.
Attendees of the meeting include Deputy Speaker Indira Rana, Nepali Congress (NC) Chief Whip Shyam Kumar Ghimire, CPN (UML) Chief Whip Mahesh Bartaula, CPN (Maoist Centre) Chief Whip Hit Raj Pandey, Rastriya Swatantra Party Chief Whip Santosh Pariyar, and others.
