Maoist Center holding Parliamentary Party meeting



KATHMANDU: The Parliamentary Party meeting of the main opposition, the Maoist Center, is set to take place today.

The meeting will be held at the party’s parliamentary office in Singha Durbar at 1 pm.

The meeting is scheduled to focus on preparations for the winter parliament session, which is scheduled to begin on Friday.

Pushpa Kamal Dahal Prachanda, the leader of the Maoist Center Parliamentary Party and party Chairman, will provide updates on the presentations and agendas that lawmakers will address during the upcoming session.

The Maoist Center has been vocal in its criticism of the government, particularly for the delayed convening of the parliamentary session and the issuance of multiple ordinances.
