Rabi Lamichhane asks from jail: What is the current government’s stance on my case?

KATHMANDU: Rastriya Swatantra Party (RSP) chair Rabi Lamichhane has sought clarification on the current government’s position regarding the case filed against him.

Claiming that the case was politically motivated, Lamichhane issued a four-point message from jail, also warning that those who have already received “letters” should not expect repeated favors.

His four messages are:

I am seeking the current government’s stance on the case filed against me by the previous government for political retaliation, not “favor.” Those who yesterday claimed “injustice happened” must speak today.

As the fourth power based on recent public mandate, RSP has the responsibility to unify alternative and transformative parties, groups, and individuals. If needed, RSP will provide both leadership and sacrifice.

Some think those who once received lottery should keep receiving them repeatedly. But coincidences do not repeat! Recently, some recipients still hope for lottery. Greedy people can try to buy lottery, but they won’t necessarily get them. Not every fish gets caught in every trap.

RSP aims to become the leading party in the country. This will not depend on short-term gains or losses. Even in extremely difficult circumstances, we remain committed to making RSP the number-one political force, regardless of the effort or time required.
