PM Sushila Karki to hold cabinet meeting ahead of tripartite talks

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister Sushila Karki has called a cabinet meeting scheduled for Wednesday at 1 pm, according to the Prime Minister and Council of Ministers’ Office.

Communications Minister Jagdish Pokharel confirmed that the meeting will take place at the Prime Minister’s Office in Singha Durbar.

Later on the same day, a tripartite meeting including representatives from the government, political parties, and various groups involved in the ongoing protests will be held at the Prime Minister’s residence in Baluwatar at 4 pm.

This marks the first time Prime Minister Karki, who assumed office on September 12, is bringing together party and protest group representatives in a single venue for discussions. The cabinet meeting precedes this historic consultation.
