Muglin–Pokhara Khairenitar west section: Blacktopping begins in Jamune



DAMAULI: Blacktopping work has begun in Jamune Bazaar under the Muglin–Pokhara Road Project (West Section).

Of the total 39 kilometers in this section, 36.8 kilometers have already been blacktopped, while the remaining segments are being completed at an accelerated pace.

According to Krishna Kunwar, head of the Muglin–Pokhara Road Project (West Section), a few stretches—including Mauriodar in Myagde, Dulegowda in Shuklagandaki, Vijaypul in Kaski, and the area near Pokhara University—are still awaiting blacktopping.

Out of the 12 bridges planned in this section, 10 have been completed. Similarly, 92 out of 100 culverts have been constructed. The project, which began with a total budget of Rs 7.4 billion, is targeted for completion by the upcoming month of December.
