NC holding office bearers’ meeting today



KATHMANDU: The ruling party Nepali Congress (NC) is holding an office bearers’ meeting today, Sunday.

According to Krishna Prasad Poudel, Chief Secretary of the Nepali Congress Central Office, the meeting will take place at 10 a.m. at the residence of party President Sher Bahadur Deuba in Budhanilakantha.

He stated that the office bearers’ meeting will focus on discussing the agenda for the Nepali Congress Central Working Committee meeting starting Monday.

“The office bearers are meeting to review the agenda of the Central Working Committee meeting scheduled for tomorrow (June 30),” Chief Secretary Poudel said.

The Central Committee meeting beginning Monday will decide whether to extend the terms of the ad hoc committees of its sister organizations or dissolve them.

Additionally, the Nepali Congress has prepared to discuss party lawmakers’ dissatisfaction with the government’s performance and the budget during the central committee meeting.
