CAN appoints Nic Pothas as consultant coach for national cricket team



KATHMANDU: The Cricket Association of Nepal (CAN) has appointed South African coach Nic Pothas as the consultant coach of the Nepali national cricket team for the upcoming ICC Cricket World Cup League 2 series in Scotland.

In a press release issued today, CAN announced Pothas’ appointment, highlighting his extensive international coaching experience. He has previously worked with the national teams of Sri Lanka, West Indies, and Bangladesh.

The Nepali men’s national team is currently preparing for the triangular series under League 2, where it will compete against Scotland and the Netherlands from June 2 to 12 in Scotland.

CAN expressed confidence that Pothas’ guidance will contribute to improved performance and help the team deliver its best during the series.
