HoR meeting taking place, Customs Bill up for approval



KATHMANDU: A meeting of the House of Representatives (HoR) under the Federal Parliament is scheduled for today at 11 AM at the Parliament Building in New Baneshwor.

During the meeting, Minister for Education, Science and Technology, Raghuji Panta, is slated to present a proposal to consider the Tilganga Eye University Bill, 2081, which originated in the National Assembly.

Similarly, Finance Minister Bishnu Poudel is scheduled to present two proposals: one to initiate discussions on the Customs Bill, 2080, along with the Finance Committee’s report, and another to pass the Customs Bill, 2081.

Likewise, Minister for Law, Justice and Parliamentary Affairs, Ajay Kumar Chaurasiya, will propose discussions on the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2080, with the accompanying report from the Law, Justice and Human Rights Committee.

He will also present a proposal to pass the Bill to Amend Some Nepal Acts, 2081.
