Gold price rises by Rs 1,400

KATHMANDU: The price of gold has surged in the local market today, marking a significant increase compared to the previous day.

According to the Federation of Nepal Gold and Silver Dealers Association, the price of printed gold has risen by Rs 1,400 per tola. As a result, printed gold is being traded at Rs 160,600 per tola today, up from Rs 159,200 on Tuesday.

Similarly, silver prices have also seen a rise.

The price of one tola of silver, which stood at Rs 1,835 on Tuesday, has increased to Rs 1,855 today.

The Federation attributes these fluctuations to international market trends.
