KATHMANDU: National Assembly (NA) Chair Narayan Prasad Dahal says the best way to honor Nepal’s martyrs is by protecting and strengthening the rights achieved through past struggles.

Issuing a message on Martyrs’ Day, Dahal paid tribute to those who sacrificed their lives for the nation’s rights and democracy.

He also extended his respects to missing combatants and wished for the recovery of those injured in various movements.

Highlighting the significance of the day, Dahal described it as a day of remembrance and a commitment to realizing the dreams of the martyrs.

He stressed the need for continued efforts toward national transformation, ensuring that the sacrifices made for Nepal’s independence and self-respect are upheld.
