Samyukta Sangharsha Samiti Nepal protests inside police cordon at Maitighar



KATHMANDU: The Samyukta Sangharsha Samiti Nepal staged a protest inside a police cordon at Maitighar, Kathmandu. The protest was organized under the banner of resistance against imperialism, reactionary forces, and the status quo.

The demonstrators raised slogans calling for national sovereignty, self-determination, and a progressive political exit from the current system. “Let’s resist imperialism, reactionary forces, and the status quo! Let us unite for national independence, sovereignty, and a progressive political solution!” were some of the main chants heard during the protest.

The protest took place amidst heightened security, as the police formed a perimeter around the demonstrators.
