The duo put together a crucial partnership after Nepal was struggling at 82-6 but fell short of securing a win. Both Rupesh and Lokesh were dismissed in the 19th over.

In the final over, 13 runs were needed, and although Karan KC was on strike, he was caught out. Shahab Alam struck a boundary, leaving 4 runs required off the last ball, but he was bowled, sealing Nepal’s narrow loss.
