Two pilgrims go missing while bathing in Gosainkunda



RASUWA: Two pilgrims went missing while bathing at the holy pilgrimage site of Gosainkunda on Sunday.

According to District Police Chief Hem Bahadur Shahi, the missing individuals have been identified as Sujan Dhakal, approximately 28 years old, from Biratnagar in Morang district, and Manoj Neupane from Belwari, Morang.

It is suspected that the two may have drowned after entering a deep section of the sacred lake. A search operation has been launched, with personnel from the Nepal Army’s Shreenath Battalion, Nepal Police, and the Armed Police Force deployed to the site on Sunday.
