KATHMANDU: Nepal Rastra Bank has fixed the foreign exchange rates for today. According to the central bank, the buying rate of one US dollar is NPR 138.13 and the selling rate is NPR 138.73.
The buying rate of one European euro is NPR 162.19 and the selling rate is NPR 162.90. One UK pound sterling is being bought at NPR 185.63 and sold at NPR 186.43. Similarly, the buying rate of one Swiss franc is NPR 173.78 and the selling rate is NPR 174.54.
For other major currencies, the buying rate of one Australian dollar is NPR 90.70 and the selling rate is NPR 91.10. One Canadian dollar is being bought at NPR 100.81 and sold at NPR 101.25. The buying rate of one Singapore dollar is NPR 107.80 and the selling rate is NPR 108.27.
Among Asian currencies, the buying rate of 10 Japanese yen is NPR 9.35 and the selling rate is NPR 9.39. The buying rate of one Chinese yuan is NPR 19.27 and the selling rate is NPR 19.35.
The Saudi Arabian riyal is being bought at NPR 36.82 and sold at NPR 36.98, while one Qatari riyal is being bought at NPR 37.79 and sold at NPR 37.96.
According to the Rastra Bank, the buying rate of one Thai baht is NPR 4.27 and the selling rate is NPR 4.29. One UAE dirham is being bought at NPR 37.61 and sold at NPR 37.77. The buying rate of one Malaysian ringgit is NPR 32.72 and the selling rate is NPR 32.86.
The buying rate of 100 South Korean won is NPR 9.98 and the selling rate is NPR 10.03. One Swedish krona is being bought at NPR 14.50 and sold at NPR 14.56. The buying and selling rates for the Danish krone are NPR 21.22 and NPR 21.73, respectively.
The centrla bank has also set the buying rate of one Hong Kong dollar at NPR 17.60 and the selling rate at NPR 17.67. One Kuwaiti dinar is being bought at NPR 452.90 and sold at NPR 454.87. One Bahraini dinar is being bought at NPR 366.39 and the selling rate for one Omani rial is NPR 367.98. The buying rate of one Omani rial is NPR 359.25. The buying and selling rates for one hundred Indian rupees are NPR 160 and NPR 160.15, respectively.
The central bank has noted that these exchange rates are subject to revision as needed. Commercial banks may offer slightly different rates, and updated information is available on the Nepal Rastra Bank’s official website.
