Prime Minister Oli leaves for Spain



KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has left for Spain. Prime Minister Oli left for Spain on Saturday evening, leading the Nepali delegation to participate in the United Nations’ ‘Fourth International Conference on Financing for Development’.

Before his departure, Prime Minister Oli was bid farewell at the Tribhuvan International Airport’s VIP lounge by Deputy Prime Minister and Urban Development Minister Prakashman Singh, Home Minister Ramesh Lekhak, Tourism Minister Badri Pandey, and others. A contingent of the Nepal Army also offered a guard of honor.
During his visit to Spain, Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to address the conference.

The Ministry of Foreign Affairs stated that Prime Minister Oli will also pay a courtesy call on King Felipe VI of Spain, hold talks with his Spanish counterpart Sánchez, and have ‘sideline’ meetings with leaders from other countries around the world.

Prime Minister Oli is scheduled to return home on Friday, July 4.
