Budget for FY 2025/26 to be unveiled at 3 pm tomorrow



KATHMANDU: The Federal Parliament has scheduled the presentation of the annual budget for the fiscal year 2025/26 for Thursday at 3 pm.

According to the daily business schedule published by the Federal Parliament Secretariat, Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present the government’s revenue and expenditure estimates before a joint session of the Federal Parliament.

“Honorable Deputy Prime Minister and Finance Minister Bishnu Prasad Paudel will present the Annual Estimate of Revenue and Expenditure (Budget) for FY 2025/26,” reads the official schedule released by Parliament Secretary Padma Prasad Pandey.

The budget ceiling for the upcoming fiscal year has been set at a minimum of Rs 1.965 trillion by the National Resource Estimate Committee.
