According to the National Earthquake Monitoring and Research Center in Lainchaur, the tremor occurred at 11:56 am. No casualties or significant damage have been reported so far.

This comes shortly after a 4.3-magnitude quake was recorded on May 26 near Ramidanda in Jajarkot district.

Nepal continues to experience frequent seismic activity due to its location in the seismically active Himalayan region. Experts have long classified the country as a high-risk zone for earthquakes.
