Police deployed at Maoist Center part office after fear of arson attacks by royalist protestors

KATHMANDU: The local administration has deployed additional police forces at the CPN-Maoist Center headquarters in Parisdanda following a series of arson attacks by royalist groups.

The increased police presence comes after royalist protesters, who had previously set fire to media houses, private properties, and the office of the CPN-Unified Socialist Party, moved towards the Maoist party’s office.

Authorities are taking precautionary measures to prevent further damage to political party offices and ensure security as tensions rise in the area.
