Vandalism breaks out at Bhatbhateni Store in Koteshwor

KATHMANDU: Vandalism occurred at Bhatbhateni in Koteshwor following a disruption of a pro-monarchy protest.

Panu Poudel, CEO of Bhatbhateni Superstore, reported that a group of individuals, who had dispersed after the protest was halted, vandalized the superstore in Koteshwor.

The group also set fire to the office of the Unified Socialist Party in Aloknagar, near Tinkune.

Angry protestors then proceeded toward the Maoist Center central office in Parisdanda, walking through the streets of Koteshwor. They set fire to a car and damaged a motorcycle along the way.
