Rabindra Mishra blames govt for violence in Tinkune

KATHMANDU: Rabindra Mishra, senior vice-chair of the Rastriya Prajatantra Party (RPP), has stated that the government should take responsibility for the damage to people and property caused by the violent royalist protests in Tinkune.

As tensions escalated following clashes between protesters and security forces, Mishra took to social media, saying, “The movement has not stopped. The government should take responsibility for all the damage to people and property.”

He urged demonstrators to refrain from attacking the general public and private property, emphasizing that the protest should not harm innocent citizens.

Mishra also criticized the country’s leadership, questioning how long “corrupt and depraved leaders” would continue to receive protection.
